about me:
My name is Farshad, and I was born in Tehran, Iran. My parents were among the Afghan refugees who came to Iran in the 1970s due to the Afghan civil war. At the age of 18, while studying electrical engineering at a technical university, I began my artistic journey in rap music alongside a friend. Over two years, I released several singles, culminating in the 2014 album Middle Of White Season. Following this release, I took my artistic pursuits more seriously, focusing on composition, sound engineering, mixing, and mastering.
From that year onward, I dedicated myself to learning mixing and mastering, as well as music theory and composition. While studying at the technical university, I decided to leave the engineering field to pursue education that was more directly connected to art.
In 2016, I graduated from the technical university and developed an interest in film editing, leading me to attend Parsan Film School, where I studied Promotional Teaser Editing and Production. In 2018, I enrolled at Soore Art University, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in painting.
Over the years, my music style evolved from rap to instrumental (electronic/ambient) music, resulting in the release of five albums and several singles. I have also held a solo painting exhibition titled Stain (Laka) and participated in numerous group shows (details in the experiences section).
Throughout my artistic journey, I have collaborated with various artists in music, video, video art, and painting, with further details available in the "experiences" section.
