Long-form Works

Long-form works are built through duration, repetition, and gradual transformation. Rather than directing attention toward immediate events, they invite sustained listening in which form reveals itself progressively over time. These works are approached not as extended compositions for their own sake, but as conditions for immersion, observation, and perceptual change.

Soft Blue

Soft Blue (Ābi-ye Mīāneh) is a one-hour ambient piece composed during the days of war and blackout in Iran.

While the city was under pressure and uncertainty, I found myself returning to soft harmonies — not as an escape, but as a way to survive.

This track is not meant to describe war directly.

It is the sound of suspended time: afternoons with no news, no internet, and a sky that remained silently blue.

Created and recorded at home, in isolation.

This work is dedicated to my mother, whose presence lives in her eyes and voice.
